Job Profile
Provides editorial support, including proofreading and copyediting. Substantively edits selected portions of Self-Assessment Programs content as assigned. Provides administrative support, including the preparation of CME documentation, to Production Administrator-Editor and Managing Editor. Assists Production Administrator-Editor and Managing Editor in facilitation of print and electronic production processes. Attends physician-based committee meetings as assigned. Requirements: College degree preferred/equivalent work-related experience considered. Previous editorial and administrative experience desired, preferably in a medical publishing environment. Must have demonstrated experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email software, and the Internet. Good organizational, telephone, interpersonal, writing, proofreading, and editorial skills are necessary. Ability to learn and internalize departmental processes, time lines, and functions and effectively establish priorities is essential. Good manual and electronic filing skills and the ability to recognize and correct electronic file errors required.
