Job Title Sr. Financial Content Manager
The Senior Financial Content Manager manages multi-channel content programs for financial services clients, particularly the Bank of America Merrill Lynch suite of projects, including creating plans and content across print, digital, video and mobile; provides strategic content thinking for all MXM financial services accounts; assists Content Director in providing leadership on financial services new business efforts; stays current with financial services content trends across the banking and investment industries; maintains a network of writers with strong subject matter expertise in all specific financial services categories.
Essential Job Functions
70% - Manages multi-channel financial services content programs, most notably Bank of America, creating content plans and working with strategy, account, design, video, print and technical team members to execute and deliver content.
20% - As lead of MXM financial \center of excellence,\ works with other staff content managers in solidifying MXM's offerings to financial services clients .
10% - Leads financial services new business efforts as assigned.
Minimum qualifications/requirements include : * 7 years editorial experience in a news organization, agency or client-side business (Bonus points for business/financial content knowledge) * Experience managing complex content programs through cross-functional teams * Strong digital content experience across content types, including infographics and video; experience in a digital-first environment * Outstanding editorial skills; the ideal candidate will have experience editing for content, scope, flow, style and adherence to quality standards * Ability to manage a large amount of copy for several publications * Strategic mindset * Client-facing experience * Experience managing freelancers; a Rolodex of strong business/financial writers helpful
