Marketing Rep,Sr/UnitRequisition IDreq4081Working TitleMarketing Rep,Sr/UnitPosition Grade12Position SummaryThe Senior Marketing Representative encompasses a broad range of marketing experience that includes writing for print publications, social media and other marketing activities, as well as marketing skills needed to support donor and community events. This position is responsible for disseminating the NMPBS monthly program guide and serving as the primary liaison with the national TV listings services and NMPBS staff to insure quality and accurate information. This position requires strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and social media software including Adobe photo shop, Hoot Suite, Tweetdeck and In-design.In addition, this position develops, writes and manages NMPBS social media sites and maintains NMPBS presences on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other relevant social networking sites for targeted users and is responsible for social media analytics.The Senior Marketing Representative will play a key role in the overall strategic marketing of New Mexico PBS both on-air and on-line. See the Position Description for additional information.Conditions of EmploymentMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.Preferred Qualifications* Ability to write and edit marketing materials such as brochures, program guides, fliers, press releases, evites and other marketing materials. * Experience in writing and editing social media related content. * Experience in setting and maintaining editorial standards for a monthly publication. * Experience in launching and maintaining social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and other relevant social networking sites. * Experience in supporting and helping to coordinate promotional special events such as open houses, program screenings, donor and community events. * Knowledge of printing procedures and requirements. * Experience in using Hoot Suite, Tweetdeck, Photo Shop, Illustrator, and In-Design. * Skill in the use of computers and related software applications, especially experience in using Microsoft Word. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of departments and external organizations.
