What part will you play?
The CW Network, LLC seeks a Writer/Producer/Editor (CW Seed) for the On-Air Creative/ Radio department. In this role you will write, produce and edit promotional spots for on-air programs and digital content.
Write, produce and edit promotional spots for on-air programs and digital content.
Supervises online editing, graphics, audio mixing and final delivery of promotional spots.
Writes/edits/produces other video components of marketing including, but not limited to, upfront presentations, long form video presentations, sales presentations, etc.
Responsible for researching current marketing and music trends.
Performs other related duties as necessary.
Manages and researches assets from out of house and coordinates with acquisitions to improve material delivery.
Coordinates with the digital content group to identify emerging trends and platforms and how to best adapt marketing messages for rapidly changing marketplace.
Be interested in social media and willing to spend time experimenting and dissecting the “how” and “why” both technically and communication-wise.
Be interested in pop culture, trends, news and digital culture and how they intersect with content marketing.
What do we require from you?
BA/BS degree in Communications, Film/TV, or related field preferred.
Must have strong marketing skills in television and radio promotion/production.
Avid editing skills.
Knowledge of technical process of processing spots form AVID to Online.
Must have strong writing skills in both drama and comedy.
Must have complete understanding of the promo process from beginning to completion.
Must have excellent supervisory skills.
Small scale production skills a plus. (Directing, DP, lighting, A/V knowledge, etc.)
Familiarity with popular social media platforms and how marketers use them.
Must have approximately 3-5 years experience in writing and producing on-air promotions.
Modern promo/trailer sensibilities desired.
Must be able to work efficiently under time constraints.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
