KCEN-TV, the NBC affiliate in Temple, TX is looking for a highly motivated Promotions Producer/Editor. Responsibilities include shooting and editing commercials, station promotions and PSA's, setting up and using field production equipment including lighting and microphones, and other creative needs determined by the Marketing Director. You will also partner with stakeholders at the station including news, sales, and digital personnel. Candidates must be able to shoot broadcast quality video and edit using Adobe Production Premium CS5.5. You will need to work well independently - and can also be collaborative and work well as a part of our team. We are looking for a self-starter with a positive attitude and a critical eye for detail who be willing to take ownership of projects and see them through to the end.
Job Requirements include:
College or technical courses with emphasis on Videography.
1-2 years of experience in shooting and editing television, digital and/or advertising messaging across various platforms
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Strong leadership, writing and organizational skills
Strong decision making and critical thinking skills are a must
A clean driving record is required
