SUMMARY:Working with Proposal Team, Program Management, Technical Staff and Program Support Teams, an SNC Proposal Writer/Editor is responsible for the generation of Proposal/Request for Information (RFI) content in the form of technical and proposal language from capture documents and engineering design/technical solutions.\u00a0PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Assist program managers, engineers, and operations managers in writing Basis if Estimates (BOE) to effectively support proposals, pricing, and program execution.
Review, edit, and perform Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliance check on BOEs.
Manage BOE and Proposal templates and re-use material \u2026\u2026.
Prepare BOE and Proposal content/narratives with minimal input (written or verbal) from subject matter experts (SME), such as program managers and design engineers, to prepare initial drafts and final narratives.
Create and edit proposal content to ensure incorporation of win themes, develop theme statements, focus boxes, and feature and benefit tables.
Work closely with SMEs and graphics designer for the development of graphics to support proposal and RFI narratives.
Adapt legacy proposal and RFI content to current efforts from past performance and re-use material on current or similar programs.
Obtain an in-depth understanding of requirements and draft concise, compliant technical sections with input, guidance, and review by SMEs.
Work with SMEs to tailor Executive Summary; Engineering Services (flight test, certification, technical publications, etc.), program management and, quality assurance, or other standardized sections; and re-use materials to current effort.
Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
Support the Proposal Manager with managing the activities of other proposal writers.
Use proposal writer reference material, including tailored proposal style guide and instruction on action captions, theme statements, and features and benefits boxes.
Use master Word templates, tailor it to each Proposal effort.
Format and develop responses to answer RFP requirements.

Required BA/BS in Related Field. Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.

Demonstrated advanced technical and Proposal writing skills
Proposal writer and technical writer experience with aerospace and defense programs, and technical proposal processes
Experience with Proposal automated software
Self-starter, able to work individually with minimum supervision
Exceptional communication skills and ability to work across teams and levels of responsibility
Strong attention to detail, ability to proof-read and edit Proposal materials
Ability to stick to Proposal plans, providing coordination of multiple resources and follow through on action items
Quality Assurance acumen and ability to deliver high quality Proposal products on schedule

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. \u00a0U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs to obtain U.S. Security Clearance for employment.
