We are currently seeking a skilled Editor to join our Moss Adams Advisory Services group (MAAS). The ideal candidate would have solid technical editing skills, a creative eye for design and detail, an outstanding service attitude, and a commitment to professional excellence with high standards and a strong ability to follow through.
Create, edit, and format template-driven client deliverables (e.g., reports, proposals, and presentations) with speed and accuracy
Develop highly visual templates and graphic materials in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel using internal branding
Proofread documents to ensure quality control and alignment with firm style standards
Troubleshoot technical issues in text, graphic files, and printing
Anticipate client needs and proactively plan work and create timelines
Effectively communicate and negotiate project deadlines and schedule changes as necessary
Update Report Control Sheets and all databases required to track work product
Assist with copying, binding, and shipping documents, as needed
Other projects as assigned
High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college coursework preferred
Minimum of 3 years of related experience, preferably in a professional services firm
Excellent proofreading skills and knowledge of English language, grammar, spelling, and syntax
Advanced to expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint to create, edit, and format templates and graphics; experience with Visio a plus
Experience working with corporate style guides, knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style a plus
Prior experience in proposal development or marketing a plus
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to type 45 wpm or more
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational abilities
Client service-oriented (both internal and external)
Ability to work as a contributing member of a team
Ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines
Creative and persistent problem solver
Able to handle confidential material in a reliable manner
Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels
